About this role

Independently Licensed Clinical Supervisor (Part-Time)

Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+)

Position: Part-Time Provider
Salary:  $35.58/hr. - $43.05 (Based on education and experience)

Department:   Outpatient/Mobile Crisis Services

Job Summary

FYI+ is seeking an independently licensed clinician who is qualified and authorized to provide clinical supervision in New Mexico. Based at our Solano location, this hybrid position combines scheduled in-person responsibilities with the flexibility to complete appropriate duties remotely.

The Clinical Supervisor provides consistent weekly supervision to an assigned group of non-independently licensed clinicians and interns. The role also serves as a trained backup source of independently licensed clinical support for the CCSS and Psychiatric Rehabilitation programs. This backup function is provided as needed, including when documentation requires review or signature by an independently licensed professional, and does not replace the programs’ routine supervision structures.

By maintaining familiarity with CCSS and Psychiatric Rehabilitation service and documentation requirements, the Clinical Supervisor helps create continuity and redundancy in clinical oversight. The position supports quality of care, sound clinical practice, documentation compliance, and adherence to agency, contractual, credentialing, payer, and regulatory requirements.

Depending on the agreed schedule, candidate availability, and program needs, the position may be structured as either a supervision-focused part-time role or a broader role that includes a defined caseload. A supervision-focused assignment does not carry an ongoing participant caseload. When direct clinical services are included, the caseload will be proportionate to the employee’s scheduled hours and supervisory responsibilities.

Qualified employees may also earn additional compensation by accepting optional, stipend-supported on-call coverage as a Mobile Crisis Team Clinician.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Supervision and Oversight

- Provide consistent weekly one-on-one clinical supervision to assigned non-independently licensed clinicians and interns, including LMSWs, LMHCs, and LAMFTs, as permitted by the supervisor’s license and applicable professional board requirements.

- Review, oversee, and co-sign documentation completed by assigned supervisees when required and authorized.

- Ensure assigned clinicians follow applicable clinical standards, ethical requirements, agency policies, documentation expectations, and regulatory and payer requirements.

- Provide clinical guidance, case consultation, and support to assigned clinicians, interns, and other clinically oriented staff.

- Serve as backup independently licensed clinical support for the CCSS and Psychiatric Rehabilitation programs when regular program supervision is unavailable or additional coverage is needed.

- Review and sign CCSS and Psychiatric Rehabilitation documentation when the signature of an independently licensed professional is required and the Clinical Supervisor is authorized to do so.

- Maintain sufficient familiarity with CCSS and Psychiatric Rehabilitation services, standards, and documentation requirements to provide reliable backup coverage and help prevent gaps in clinical oversight.

- Collaborate with program leadership to identify clinical-quality concerns, documentation issues, training needs, and opportunities to strengthen services.

Direct Clinical Services, When Included in the Assigned Role

- Maintain a manageable caseload proportionate to scheduled hours and supervisory responsibilities.

- Provide therapy, assessment, and related clinical services within the clinician’s scope of practice and in accordance with agency, contract, credentialing, and payer requirements.

- Complete timely and accurate participant documentation in the electronic health record.

- Support continuity of care, participant engagement, and timely access to appropriate services.

Optional Mobile Crisis Team Coverage

- Accept optional, stipend-supported on-call hours as a Mobile Crisis Team Clinician based on interest, availability, qualifications, credentialing, and program needs.

- Provide crisis assessment, intervention, safety planning, and related community-based crisis services in accordance with Mobile Crisis Team and agency standards.
