About this role

Job Requirements

Responsible for direct pastoral care for patients and families at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Acts as a support person for patients, caregivers, families and staff. Serves as part of an interdisciplinary team and serves as a liaison to patients and families that receive Palliative Care services at Restorative Care. Other responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

Education

- Master's Degree from an accredited seminary

Experience

- Minimum of four units clinical pastoral education
- Minimum of 2 years ministerial experience

License/Registration/Certifications

- Valid driver's license

Preferred Requirements

Preferred License/Registration/Certifications

- Board Certification or eligible for Board Certification through the Association of Professional Chaplains

- Sit and view computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Requires extensive daily travel
- Must have extensive critical thinking and judgment skills
- Must be able to work as a team member with peers, department managers, staff and administration
- Strong organizational skills
