About this role

Kern Energy is seeking a Commercial and Logistics Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the supply chain, logistics and marketing operations of the company. This role is responsible for daily inventory scheduling, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Job Function

- Collect, analyze, interpret and communicate data related to the companys supply chain, logistics and marketing operations.

- Identify trends and patterns to support decision-making and optimization of operations.

- Forecast and communicate daily product and crude inventories and implement strategies to support refinery demands.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track performance and monitor KPIs.

- Assist in the development and implementation of new supply chain and logistics systems and technologies.

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies.

- Support 24 / 7 refinery operations and perform job functions as needed outside of standard business hours.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in data analysis tools and software such as Excel and ERP systems.

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws related to logistics and supply chain management.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail.

Education / Experience

- Associate or bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred but not required.

- 3 - 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
