What you'll do...
As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love. Use company and industry standard processes and tools to plan, design, manage, and utilize gauges for measurement of components and assemblies.
You'll have...
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering- Industrial, Electrical/Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics engineering
- 2 plus years of Experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Strong problem-solving 6 Sixma, 8D and lean tools and
- Conflict management skills
- Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection methods
- Experience consulting and interpreting Scan Box, 3D scanning systems, Laser Gauge, CM4D
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA, and root cause methodologies
- Strong ability to lead teams and perform problem solving meetings
- Strong ability to communicate and present to several layers within the organization.
Even better, you may have...
- Manufacturing, PVT or STA areas experience preferred
- Safety and Quality experience preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of constraint management principles
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
