Purpose of the Role
BGIS is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day facilities operations of a major national airline's Perth Airport precinct. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for the client, coordinating maintenance, soft services, and KPIs across a busy, high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for the client, business units, and internal teams.
- Manage and allocate reactive maintenance requests and preventative maintenance through the CMMS, making sure KPIs are met.
- Coordinate soft services, including cleaning, pest control, gardens, grounds, and waste management.
- Manage consumables and chemical ordering, usage reconciliation, and supplier coordination.
- Carry out routine cleaning inspections, raise actions, and follow them through.
- Support quoting, invoice and compliance reviews, and quote approvals.
- Oversee service contracts, subcontractors, and periodic site inspections.
- Facilitate business unit meetings, including agendas and minutes.
- Prepare month-end reporting and keep records accurate and up to date.
- Support WHS, environmental, and sustainability requirements, and suggest improvements.
- Build positive relationships with the client, vendors, and the BGIS team.
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Experience in a facilities management, property, or corporate real estate environment, with a focus on soft services such as cleaning and landscaping.
- Experience coordinating reactive and preventative maintenance and working to KPIs.
- Proficiency in CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Sound financial understanding, including quoting and invoicing.
- Understanding of QA and WHS requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
- A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
Desirable:
- Formal qualifications in Building or Facilities Management.
- Experience in aviation, government, or large-scale commercial sites.
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of building services, scoping, and subcontract documentation.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
Workplace Flexibility
This is a full time, permanent position based 100% on-site at Perth Airport , working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Free onsite parking is available.
