Job Description

Job Purpose

The Product Manager is accountable for developing and executing annual marketing plans aligned with product or portfolio strategy to deliver strategic and financial goals. This role is part of the Sales and Marketing team and may either lead a product or portfolio independently or collaborate with brand managers on larger products.

Major Accountabilities

- Develop and execute annual product and portfolio marketing strategies aligned with business, customer, and financial objectives.
- Drive brand performance through effective tactical planning, promotional investment management, and timely execution of key initiatives.
- Lead digital promotions and healthcare consumer activation across social media, omnichannel, public relations, and on-ground platforms.
- Design and optimize full-funnel consumer journeys, from disease awareness and consideration through vaccination conversion.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform brand strategy and business decisions.
- Prepare demand and financial forecasts to support manufacturing planning, inventory management, and portfolio priorities.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize digital content across websites, SEO, influencer engagement, chatbot platforms, and other relevant channels.
- Build productive relationships with customers, key accounts, distributors, healthcare experts, influencers, agencies, and regional or global stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Logistics, Finance, Market Access, Public Affairs, Commercial Operations, and regional teams.
- Ensure all marketing and business activities comply with applicable laws, ethical standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Performance Indicators

- Achievement of sales, market share, and other agreed brand or portfolio targets.
- Delivery of marketing plans, campaigns, and strategic initiatives within approved timelines and budgets.
- Effectiveness and return of promotional, advertising, and healthcare consumer activation programs.
- Digital campaign performance across agreed engagement, reach, awareness, consideration, and conversion measures.
- Growth in disease awareness, urgency for vaccination, and consumer movement across the vaccination journey.
- Accuracy and timeliness of demand, sales, financial, and inventory forecasts.
- Quality and effectiveness of omnichannel content, including website, SEO, social media, influencer, and chatbot initiatives.
- Successful implementation of local and regional consumer programs across relevant segments and vaccination access points.
- Strength and effectiveness of cross-functional, customer, distributor, agency, and external stakeholder engagement.
- Compliance of all programs, materials, and business activities with internal and external requirements

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least five years of product management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
- Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Skills:  Strong knowledge of product management and marketing principles. Product launch experience is strongly preferred. Specialty business exposure, particularly in vaccines or oncology, is an advantage. Experience in social media management, media planning, influencer marketing, or healthcare consumer activation is preferred
