About the Opportunity

Lead and coordinate customer focused and specialist IT support services that underpin end‑user computing and teaching technologies across the University. You’ll be responsible for delivering reliable, responsive, and scalable support for staff, students, and teaching environments overseeing incident and request management, service performance, and continuous improvement. Working within a service aligned model, you’ll drive strong customer outcomes, uphold service standards, and build team capability to meet University priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day delivery of end-user computing, AV, collaboration, and Service Centre support services.
- Coordinate incidents, requests, and service tasks to meet agreed SLAs and standards.
- Supervise and develop technical staff, managing workloads, performance, and team capability.
- Drive continuous improvement of end-user and teaching technology services.
- Provide senior technical guidance and escalation support for complex issues.
- Support peak periods, semester readiness, and technology rollouts.
- Collaborate with service leads, projects, and partners to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Monitor performance, trends, and feedback to improve service quality and user experience.
- Maintain clear procedures, documentation, and knowledge resources.
- Support device lifecycle management, including deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.

About you

- The occupant of this position will hold relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

This is a full time, continuing opportunity based as Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Salary

HEW 7 – Base range - $104,504.60 - $113,219.43 17% super. Full package range - $122,270.38 - $132,466.72.
