Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
1.1 Endpoint Management
- Design, implement and support Microsoft Intune capabilities, including Autopilot, Windows Update for Business (WUfB), Endpoint Analytics, Configuration Policies, Compliance Policies and Azure AD Join.
- Engineer and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) services, including Operating System Deployment (OSD), Application Packaging, Software Distribution, Patching, Inventory and Reporting.
- Support SCCM to Intune migration activities across complex enterprise environments.
- Design and implement application provisioning and management solutions across on-premises, cloud-managed and hybrid endpoints.
- Deliver evergreen platform management for Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
- Manage Windows feature update deployment activities.
- Support operating system lifecycle management and release management activities.
- Support the strategic evolution of endpoint management capabilities through the adoption of modern management technologies.
- Ensure endpoint management services remain secure, scalable, resilient and operationally supportable.
- Develop deployment approaches, migration plans and operational transition activities.
1.2 Endpoint Provisioning & Device Management
- Design and manage standard workstation builds.
- Deliver cloud-native and hybrid endpoint provisioning models.
- Support enterprise workstation standards.
- Maintain and support traditional deployment and imaging methodologies.
1.3 Endpoint Hardware Management
- Manage BIOS, firmware and driver deployment across enterprise hardware platforms.
- Maintain hardware standards and deployment baselines.
- Support enterprise device management tooling across Dell, Lenovo and HP platforms.
1.4 Endpoint Security
- Configure and support endpoint security controls, including Microsoft Defender, Attack Surface Reduction (ASR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Baselines and Policies.
- Implement and manage BitLocker encryption policies and recovery processes.
- Support disk encryption governance and compliance controls.
1.5 Automation, Reporting & Analytics
- Utilise PowerShell, VBScript, Microsoft Graph API and SCCM WMI for automation and operational efficiency.
- Develop reporting across Intune, SCCM and SQL Reporting Services.
- Support Power BI reporting where required.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services.
1.6 Operational Support
- Provide 3rd level support for endpoint management services.
- Support root cause investigations for major incidents affecting endpoint services.
- Contribute to service improvements through incident trend analysis and corrective actions.
1.7 Documentation & Vendor Management
- Create and maintain High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation documentation and operational procedures.
- Interact with vendor support organisations for escalation management and drive issues through to resolution.
- Support vendor escalation processes for complex endpoint platform issues.
- Analyse business requests and provide solutions to meet requirements.
