Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
1.1 Mobile Device Management & Platform Operations
- Provide operational support for Ivanti Neurons for MDM.
- Support Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile.
- Support Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management capabilities as they are introduced.
- Support mobile device enrolment, provisioning, migration and lifecycle activities.
- Support corporate-owned and employee-owned mobile device services.
- Support iPhone, iPad and MacBook device management.
- Support mobile compliance policies, configuration profiles and device remediation.
- Support remote device management activities, including device retirement and wipe.
- Support Ivanti Sentry, connectors and associated mobile platform services.
- Support scheduled platform maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle activities.
1.2 Mobile Applications & Apple Services
- Support the onboarding, packaging, publishing and deployment of mobile applications.
- Support application availability through the corporate mobile application store.
- Support mobile application testing, validation, pilot and rollout activities.
- Investigate mobile application installation, activation, authentication and synchronization issues.
- Support mobile application access requests and associated security groups.
- Support mobile productivity applications, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.
- Support Apple platform integrations and associated mobile services.
- Support mobile application signing, certificate and publishing activities.
- Support Apple Business Manager services where required.
1.3 Monitoring, Incident & Service Operations
- Support monitoring and alerting across mobile platforms and services.
- Manage and resolve mobile incidents and service requests according to defined procedures.
- Provide platform-level operational support for mobile device management and mobile application services.
- Collect logs, diagnostics and evidence for technical investigation and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain the stability, reliability and availability of supported mobile platforms.
- Prioritize and triage issues in time-sensitive environments.
- Follow incident, change and release management processes.
- Support vendor escalations through to issue resolution.
- Provide clear and timely updates during incidents and service disruption.
- Support platform resilience, recovery testing and operational readiness activities.
1.4 Security, Compliance & Access Management
- Support mobile security controls and platform compliance requirements.
- Support mobile application access controls and security-group administration.
- Assist with access management and entitlement review activities.
- Support mobile device compliance and security remediation activities.
- Participate in audit, risk and compliance activities relating to mobile platforms.
- Support approved risk-management activities for mobile capabilities and pilot deployments.
- Assist with the investigation and resolution of mobile security and configuration issues.
- Maintain appropriate operational records for mobile access and platform activities.
1.5 Platform Change & Continuous Improvement
- Support mobile platform changes, upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Participate in technical testing and validation before and after platform changes.
- Support pilot initiatives and new mobile capability evaluations.
- Assist with mobile service modernisation and future Microsoft Intune adoption.
- Support mobile device and application migration activities.
- Identify process and service improvements.
- Balance business-as-usual support with project and assignment-based tasks.
- Contribute to improvements in service reliability and user experience.
1.6 Documentation & Collaboration
- Create and update operational procedures, support information and mobile platform documentation.
- Contribute to user guides, knowledge articles and troubleshooting material.
- Support knowledge-transfer activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, regional teams and other stakeholders.
- Work with identity, network, security, messaging and desktop support teams.
- Work with mobile platform vendors to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate incident, problem, change and service-request records.
- Use Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 to support operational delivery.

- Experience working in a mobile or platform support environment.
- Experience investigating technical incidents and service requests.

- Mobile device enrolment, provisioning and lifecycle support.
- Mobile device compliance and configuration support.
