## About the role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Brand Controlling Intern to support the Finance team in monitoring brand performance, evaluating marketing investments, and delivering financial insights to support decision-making. This internship offers exposure to both Finance and Marketing functions and provides hands-on experience in business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

To be eligible for the role, you must be enrolled in a University based in the EU and be able to obtain an internship/university agreement.

Start date: 11th January 2027

End date: 10th July 2027

Your responsibilities

- Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting for assigned brands.

- Assist in analyzing brand profitability, sales performance, and gross margin evolution.

- Prepare variance analyses versus budget, forecast, and prior year results.

- Consolidate financial information and maintain reporting dashboards.

- Monitor advertising, promotion, and marketing expenditures.

- Track actual spending against approved budgets.

- Support the validation and control of marketing-related accruals and invoices.

- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

- Gather and analyze business assumptions from Marketing and Sales teams.

- Support scenario analyses and evaluate business opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with Brand Managers, Marketing teams, and Commercial Finance.

- Help provide financial insights to support brand strategy and investment decisions.

- Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects.

- Extract and analyze data from financial and business systems.

- Identify risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.

- Contribute to process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.

The experience we're looking for

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Familiarity with Power BI, SAP, or other reporting tools is an advantage.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Experience performing tasks requiring high level of accuracy orientation to detail.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
