We are currently recruiting experienced GE Mechanical Specialists to join a major international offshore energy project in South Korea. This role will be responsible for supporting commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness activities related to rotating machinery and mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commissioning and start-up activities for rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification of mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary commissioning teams to ensure system readiness.
- Review technical documentation, procedures, and commissioning records.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning and start-up phases.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
- Participate in offshore and yard-based commissioning activities when required.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Mechanical Commissioning within Oil & Gas, LNG, FLNG, Petrochemical, or Energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery, mechanical equipment, and commissioning methodologies.
- Offshore commissioning and start-up experience.
- Experience working on large-scale EPC and commissioning projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
- Willingness to travel and support activities at different project locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous FLNG project experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with rotating equipment, compressors, pumps, turbines, and associated systems.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
