In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and continuous improvement of products across IFF's Functional Systems portfolio. Working closely with colleagues in Quality & Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Manufacturing, you will help ensure that products consistently meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Our Functional Systems business supports the food industry with innovative ingredient systems, technical expertise, and quality solutions that enable consistent product performance and regulatory compliance. Where You’ll Make a Difference

- Participate in New Product Development activities to ensure product quality and compliance requirements are met.
- Coordinate and implement customer-specific quality and technical requirements across Functional Systems products.
- Maintain and manage product master data and specifications in various IT systems, including SAP.
- Create, review, and maintain customer-facing technical documentation, statements, and specifications.
- Provide Quality & Food Safety support to internal stakeholders including Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, Sales, Application, R&D, and Operations.
- Investigate and manage raw material and finished product deviations while supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Handle product quality complaints and support root cause investigations and resolution activities.
- Support customer documentation requests, questionnaires, and specification reviews in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in customer, certification, and third-party audits, providing Quality & Food Safety expertise to manufacturing sites.
- Support raw material assessments, supplier evaluations, and approval processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality management systems and compliance processes.
- Engage directly with customers and internal teams to provide technical and quality-related guidance.

What Makes You the Right Fit

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Food Safety, Regulatory, or Technical Services in the food or food ingredients industry.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP, ISO standards, BRCGS, and/or FSSC 22000.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions.
- Experience working with ERP systems and digital tools; SAP knowledge is highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling technical product data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Service-minded and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build effective relationships across a global organization.

- Knowledge of microbiology and its application in food safety and quality management.
- Working proficiency in Danish and experience supporting customer or certification audits.
