A Day in Your Life at MKS:
We are seeking a talented Electronics Technician to join our Engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, sustaining engineering, and documentation of advanced MKS products. In this role, you will report to the Bangalore Engineering Lead.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Assist engineers with prototype assembly, system setup, and product testing activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot test stations, fixtures, and instrumentation.
• Execute engineering test procedures and document results.
• Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations by collecting data and performing diagnostic testing.
• Build, modify, and maintain cables, harnesses, test fixtures, and laboratory hardware.
Skills You Bring:
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting electronic laboratory equipment, manufacturing test systems, or engineering development environments.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with calibration and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
• Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
• Regular use of electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
