Senior Pricing Analyst, Group, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining competitive and commercially viable pricing solutions that support business growth and profitability.
- Support the Sales team in developing pricing, preparing quotations, estimates, and commercial proposals for customer negotiations and contract opportunities.
- Prepare and manage spot quotes in line with customer requirements, cost structures, market conditions, and approved pricing guidelines.
- Develop and manage competitive pricing proposals for new and existing customers.
- Analyze customer requirements, shipment profiles, volumes, service requirements, and cost structures to develop commercially viable pricing solutions.
- Support the Sales team during customer negotiations by providing pricing analysis, cost breakdowns, and commercial recommendations.
- Coordinate and support tender and RFQ processes, including customer pre-qualification requirements, preparation of tender documentation, pricing submissions, and timely submission of complete proposals.
- Review tender requirements and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure all technical, commercial, and compliance requirements are addressed.
- Follow up on submitted proposals, spot quotes, and tenders and monitor their status with customers.
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports to support commercial and management decision-making.
- Identify pricing trends, commercial opportunities, and potential risks to support business growth and profitability.
- Ensure pricing activities comply with company policies, approval requirements, and established commercial guidelines.
- Performing any other related duties / projects assigned by the Department Manager from time to time to meet the business needs.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Education – Bachelor degree in sales / marketing / supply chain solutions
Work Experience – 5 years; Minimum 2 years experience in industry in similar capacity
