Job Overview

The ALS Field Specialist IV (Senior) is responsible for leading and supervising Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) field operations, with a primary focus on Surface and Downhole Jet Pump systems. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery to customers while maintaining full compliance with QHSE standards and company procedures. The ALS Field Supervisor oversees field personnel, equipment readiness, job execution, client support, operational performance, and workforce development, while serving as the key field representative for ALS operations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise ALS field operations, including Surface and Downhole Jet Pump installations, interventions, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure all operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Weatherford and customer requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor field activities, personnel utilization, equipment readiness, and operational resources.
- Provide technical support, operational guidance, and problem-solving expertise for ALS projects and field operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field engineers and local personnel to enhance technical competency and operational readiness.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and support business development activities through technical presentations and client engagement.
- Coordinate equipment mobilization, maintenance, inventory management, and operational reporting.
- Lead safety initiatives, toolbox talks, incident reporting, risk assessments, and continuous improvement programs.
- Support engineering studies, operational analysis, technical reporting, and project coordination activities.
- Ensure operational performance targets, service quality standards, and business objectives are achieved.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Surface and Downhole Jet Pump systems and ALS operations.
- Proven leadership, crew supervision, and workforce development capabilities.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of QHSE, risk management, and operational compliance requirements.
- Effective customer relationship management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
- Experience with ALS design and simulation software, preferably JEMS and WellFlo.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic field environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead operations under challenging field conditions.

Qualifications:

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on Artificial Lift Systems experience, including Surface and Downhole Jet Pump operations.
- Experience supervising field personnel and leading operational activities.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of safety management systems, QHSE standards, and oilfield operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business systems.
- Medically fit and able to work rotational field assignments.

Preferred

- Experience working in high H ₂ S oil and gas environments.
- Project-based operational experience with multiple concurrent activities.
- Experience training, coaching, and mentoring field engineers and technicians.
- Working knowledge of JEMS, WellFlo, and JD Edwards systems.
- Exposure to business development, customer engagement, and technical presentation activities.
