Your Role

As a Manager / Senior Manager, Smart Factory & Supply Chain within our Life Sciences industry team , you will advise senior client stakeholders and lead complex operational transformation programs across manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory operations, and quality. You will shape future-state operating models, transformation roadmaps, and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, agility, decision-making, and business performance.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to Life Sciences leadership teams while overseeing engagement delivery, strengthening executive client relationships, developing consulting talent, and driving business and account growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead large-scale transformation programs across Life Sciences manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, and quality environments, delivering measurable business outcomes and sustainable value.

- Advise senior client stakeholders on Smart Factory, digital manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, and quality transformation strategies, leveraging data, automation, advanced analytics, AI, GenAI, digital twins, and connected operations.

- Design future-state operating models, process improvements, technology-enabled transformation roadmaps, business cases, and value realization frameworks aligned with clients’ strategic and operational objectives.

- Manage end-to-end engagement delivery, including scope, budget, staffing, risk management, executive communications, client satisfaction, and the leadership of multidisciplinary consulting teams.

- Drive business development through opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposals, RFP responses, executive presentations, account expansion, and collaboration across Capgemini’s Data and AI, Digital Engineering, Cloud, and Enterprise Transformation capabilities.

- Build and strengthen executive-level client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and create new revenue streams.

- Champion AI and GenAI-enabled innovation across manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, and quality operations to improve productivity, decision intelligence, compliance, and workforce effectiveness.

- Contribute to the development of Life Sciences market offerings, thought leadership, accelerators, and differentiated solutions across Smart Factory, Supply Chain, Labs, Manufacturing, and Quality.

- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing consulting teams while supporting recruiting, mentorship, capability development, and knowledge sharing across the Life Sciences industry team.

Your Skills + Experience

You bring strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understand how these capabilities apply to enterprise transformation. You are able to identify and support AI-enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness, and you have experience working in AI-augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, and solution development.

You collaborate effectively across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI-driven solutions, with a solid understanding of responsible AI principles such as ethics, privacy, security, and governance. You demonstrate curiosity and a continuous learning mindset around emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.

Required Experience:

- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale manufacturing, supply chain, laboratory, quality, or operational transformation programs within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare organizations.

- At least 6 years of consulting experience, including significant experience advising and delivering transformation programs for Life Sciences clients.

- Deep expertise in at least two of the following areas: Smart Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Transformation, Lab Informatics, Lab Operations, Operational Excellence, Digital Operations, Quality Transformation, or Enterprise Transformation.

- Experience developing future-state operating models, business cases, value realization frameworks, process improvements, and technology-enabled transformation roadmaps.

- Experience with relevant platforms and technologies such as MES, including Werum PAS-X, Syncade, Opcenter, or Apriso; LIMS; ELN; laboratory informatics platforms; QMS platforms, including TrackWise or Veeva Quality; PLM; SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Supply Chain; digital twins; connected operations; advanced analytics; and AI/GenAI-enabled transformation.

- Demonstrated success advising executive stakeholders, leading multi-workstream consulting engagements, managing high-performing teams, and delivering complex transformation programs.

- Proven experience contributing to business development, proposal creation, solution shaping, executive presentations, and account growth.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

- Bachelor’s degree required. An MBA or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on client needs.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $140,000 to $200,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
