About this role

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an analytical and proactive finance professional to support the planning, reporting, and control of A&CP and Education investments. The role offers exposure to both financial controlling and business partnering, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and sound financial stewardship of marketing spend.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own end-to-end Marketing (Advertising & Consumer Promotion) spend controlling, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of marketing investments.

- Prepare and maintain regular financial reports and dashboards, providing clear visibility of spend, commitments, and budget utilization.

- Partner with Marketing and Business Owners to monitor spending performance, challenge assumptions, and support informed investment decisions.

- Support global standardization projects and Sap Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation for assigned area of responsibility

- Oversee Education (EDU) spend reporting and analysis, ensuring accurate tracking of training investments, budget adherence, and timely communication of results to stakeholders.

- Perform monthly close activities, including accruals, reallocations, reconciliations, and other accounting adjustments related to marketing spend.

- Analyze variances versus budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.

- Support planning cycles (Forecasts and Budget) by coordinating inputs, validating assumptions, and preparing financial submissions.

- Ensure data quality and governance by maintaining financial master data, resolving reporting issues, and implementing process improvements.

- Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering support to stakeholders, auditors, and finance leadership.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

- Approximately 3 years’ experiences in a similar analyst role

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management, or a related field

- Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and systems experience (SAP, EPM appreciated)

- Ability to work in international team / Fluent in English

- Experience in working in a multi-functional environment is nice to have

- Developed analytical and organizational skills

- Influencing skills is a plus / proactive attitude

- Ability to act and operate independently with direction from Management

- German nice to have but not obligatory
