Job Description:
This position is responsible for the timely closure of reporting periods and the review of month, quarter, and year-end reporting. The role includes preparing and publishing AP metric dashboard reports at regular intervals, handling escalations, and providing solutions to stakeholders. Additionally, the Team Lead will manage vendor master data maintenance clean-up activities to comply with internal control requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting & Metrics: Ensure timely closure of month, quarter, and year-end reporting periods. Prepare and publish AP metric dashboards at regular intervals.
• Escalation Management: Handle escalations effectively and provide timely solutions to stakeholders.
• Vendor Master Data: Perform vendor master data clean-up activities to comply with internal controls and governance standards.
• Invoice & Compliance: Ensure all vendor invoices and reports are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies.
• Reconciliation: Perform GR/IR and supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Issue Resolution: Coordinate with warehouses and other parties to resolve 3-way match discrepancies, over/under deliveries, damages, missing shipping notifications, in-transit issues, and credit note requests.
• Process Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of P2P processes, posting correction entries, and handling PO/non-PO invoices. Stay updated on technological advancements in AP.
• Process Improvement: Identify process gaps, recommend solutions, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Change Management & Business Continuity: Drive smooth transitions during system changes, ensure minimal disruption, and provide training/support to team members.
• Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate team members. Provide coaching, identify training needs, foster knowledge sharing, and assist with performance management, career development, and staffing.
• Quality & Prioritization: Set priorities, manage deadlines, and ensure 100% accuracy in work output. Escalate issues where necessary.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver exceptional service to business partners and stakeholders. Proactively seek feedback and implement improvements to meet customer needs.
• Compliance & Standards: Create, follow, and enforce compliance standards and processes. Lead projects within defined scope and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

o Expert knowledge of SAP (ECC & S/4HANA).

• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Adaptability & Teamwork: Self-starter, flexible, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• People Management: 3+ years of experience in performance appraisals, coaching, and team development in a captive environment.
• Domain Expertise: 8+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
Educational Qualification:
• Finance Graduate/Post Graduate - MBA
