Interior Design Show team of Informa Canada is looking for a tech savvy, detail-oriented, and commercially minded individual to join our team. As the Sales Support and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading “end-to-end” delivery of sales initiatives that aim to recruit, inform, and retain our vendors (creative entrepreneurs, small business owners, makers and creators).

Job Description

This role is based in our Toronto Office

Who You Are:

You are a strong communicator and believe business growth comes from customer success. You are a problem solver, and love to analyze and generate new ideas to maximize productivity and profitability. Lastly, you are a collaborator, and together with the rest of the team, you are driven to deliver daily excellence on all things related to Canadian consumer events.

What You Will Do:

- Facilitate day-to-day administrative tasks such as exhibitor account management and updates, reviewing account and product updates in Salesforce CRM system
- Collaborate with the billing department on account reconciliation and outstanding invoices and balances
- Oversee the full vendor application process from setting up the digital application, preparing jury workflow to communications to applicants
- Ensures all clients’ needs and expectations are met in a timely manner. In many cases, contact with clients are required all year.  
- Onboard new and returning vendors with the Newsletter Series
- Monitor vendor’s adoption and development of best practices, constructively challenge them to improve their engagement with all Canadian consumer events related products
- Ensure all vendors are following through and completing onboarding steps
- Populate relevant information, order forms and deadlines on the website and vendor portal
- Coordinate content to be translated when needed
- Implement and execute the resign process to rebook vendors for future events
- Assist in the ongoing review and updates of various vendor/exhibitor documentations and policies
- Contribute feedback and recommendations to improve the overall Canadian consumer events experience
- Collaborate with the billing department on account reconciliation
- Handle onsite duties during events, including order taking, cash collection, and POS management

Sponsorship Fulfillment

- Own the logistics behind sponsor activations across our portfolio of events
- Make sure all sponsorship deliverables are checked off, buttoned up, and on-brand
- Oversee logo placements, signage, swag, and all things sponsor visibility
- Track activation progress and report like a pro—because details matter
- Collaborate on how partner brands show up in every corner of our shows

Event Operations

- Team up with Marketing, PR, and Operations to execute activations with polish
- Be boots-on-the-ground on-site to ensure activations go off without a hitch
- Manage supplies tied to sponsor needs and event execution
- Assist with staffing for sponsor activations and troubleshoot in real time
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to bring sponsor ideas to life

Relationship Management

- Be the go-to contact for sponsors you’re assigned—answering questions, solving problems, and keeping them in the loop
- Provide regular updates and activation reports pre- and post-show
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Support engagement strategies that build trust and long-term sponsor value
- Help sponsors feel like VIPs (because they are!)

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications for Sales Support and Communications Coordinator

- Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication to engage vendors, sponsors, and internal teams.
- Customer Service Orientation : Proactive problem-solving and a customer-first mindset to ensure satisfaction.
- Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency : Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and website content management.
- Event Coordination : Hands-on experience managing event logistics, vendor onboarding, and sponsor activations.
- Collaboration : Team player with strong interpersonal skills to work across departments and build relationships.
- Adaptability : Flexible and resourceful, with the ability to handle challenges and improve processes.
- Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; 1-3 years of relevant experience

The salary range for this role is $,60,000 to $70,000 based on experience.
