Responsibilities
- Review construction and architectural drawings to understand project requirements and quality standards.
- Perform pre-pour inspections of all forms, reinforcement, steel, and inserts to verify compliance with project specifications and dimensional tolerances.
- Inspect all finished precast concrete products to ensure they meet visual standards, structural requirements, and architectural specifications.
- Ensure all precast products are correctly marked and labeled for identification, traceability, and proper installation.
- Maintain accurate daily and project production records, documenting inspections, findings, and quality control activities.
- Complete daily quality control documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
- Apply mathematical skills to verify measurements, tolerances, and quantities related to concrete, reinforcement, and forms.
- Collaborate with plant operations, design, and drafting teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures for architectural precast concrete products.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area in both shop and office environments.
Essential Skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with design and drafting personnel to align quality control with design intent.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
- Comfort working in both shop and office settings, adapting communication and work style as needed.
Work Environment
This role operates in a mixed environment, with approximately 70% of time spent on the shop floor and 30% in the office. The shop is a closed production environment where conditions can be dusty and dirty due to concrete and manufacturing activities, requiring comfort with hands-on work around equipment and materials. The office portion involves working with design and drafting teams in a more traditional workspace. The company offers a close-knit, family-oriented culture where leadership maintains strong relationships across the organization.
