Working Student in IT Governance and Enabling Service at Allianz SE (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining?

Allianz Re IT and Enterprise Architecture within H4 Allianz SE Solo Operations, IT and Organization is the  Retained IT function of Allianz Reinsurance. We ensure that technology investments, architecture, service delivery, and IT governance support Allianz Re's business objectives while operational delivery is primarily provided by Allianz Technology. We act as the key interface between business stakeholders, service providers, and Group functions, ensuring that IT services are secure, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with Allianz standards and regulatory requirements.

You will join the Workplace IT team. We make sure our Allianz Reinsurance colleagues have the devices, tools and support they need to work productively every day – from their laptop to collaboration tools to the data that shows us how well the workplace runs. With us you will gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT support, device and asset management and IT service management, and learn how a modern workplace is run in a large international company.

How can you make an impact?

- Support employees with workplace-related questions and help coordinate workplace service activities.
- Assist with the setup, handover, tracking and lifecycle management of workplace devices and IT equipment.
- Help keep devices secure and up to date by following up with colleagues.
- Contribute to workplace analytics and reporting using platforms such as Power BI, ServiceNow, Nexthink.
- Take part in workplace improvement activities such as onboarding support for new colleagues, office floorwalks and gathering employee feedback.

What are you made of?

- Ongoing studies in computer science, business informatics, information systems or a comparable field.
- First hands-on experience with Windows devices and Microsoft 365.
- Very good English skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical colleagues; German is a plus.
- Availability of up to 20 hours per week, with regular days on site in our office.
- Desirable: interest in data and automation tools such as Power BI, ServiceNow or Nexthink.
- You are enrolled at a university during the contract period.
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
