Position Summary

Join our Ceiling Shop at Jet Aviation, to contribute to the creation of innovative interior designs for luxury aircraft, which are as functional as they are elegant.
The ceiling team’s journey is to manufacture ceiling parts, prepare components, and adjust the parts and sound proofing where necessary. Finishes integration and covering with the finest materials is then carried out before final installation in the aircraft.

As a Workshop Team Leader for our Ceiling Shop, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of skilled production technicians, guiding them in creating and assembling ceiling components with precision and excellence. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your mission

- Assembles cable looms, harnesses, installs them with electrical components in to furniture and ensure compliance with production standards and specifications as instructed by his/her supervision or management on: Cabinets, Credenza, Vanity, Galleys, Toilets, Bulkheads, Doors, Cargo IFE Racks, Relays Module Panels, Circuit Breaker Modules, Tables, Seats, Divan and Ceiling Shell components.

- Leads a check team (continuity, isolation and power checks).

- Demonstrates ability to lead a team of people (assigning workload & tasks).

- Works actively and in good intelligence within the Production Organization Team and Final Installation Team.

- Plan and maintain the project work scope relevant to budget and schedule within the project milestones using recognized tools

- Performs complex electrical cable looms, harnesses assembly operations in accordance with wire lists, wiring diagrams and drawings.

- Performs complex Electrical G plans in accordance with Jet Aviation Processes.

- Performs complex Integration assembly operations on monuments using basic 2D design/engineering drawings, notes, instructions, and process specifications.

- Performs complex electrical connecting assembly on power Plugs, Relays, Circuit Breakers and Electrical Equipment.

- Performs complex dis-assembly operations on Electrical components installed on monuments and other subassemblies before finishing processes.

- Performs complex and sensitive harness manufacturing including connecting fibre optic wires

- Performs complex modifications on produced harnesses in accordance with engineering requirements

- Ensures parts and component kits are ready before manufacturing processes in accordance with drawings BOM list

- Participate in audit support by demonstration of standard daily practice

- Encourages job skill development and personal growth within the team

- Ensures fluid communication with the aircraft and core team members, and performs team briefings on project and business topic

Your profile

- Meets requirements for Technician or holds B2 license, certified aircraft electro apprenticeship, or 10 years equivalent experience

- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to allocate workload according to team competencies, minimum 6 people

- Very strong technical knowledge of OEM documentation, required tooling and standard aircraft practices across multi OEMs, and able to instruct team to find solutions

- Basic level of English minimum B1 (B2 preferred) regardless must be able to read and understand Engineering data and maintenance tasks in English documentation and give clear instruction to others.

- Familiar with aviation authorities (FOCA, EASA, FAA,..) procedures and processes

- PC literate with MS packages and ability to use SAP and PLM systems

- Capability to hold internal Authorized Mechanic approval for work sign off

- Lead team activities from work configuration through to connection check following aircraft installation, and support power check, trouble shooting, C&T activities.
