The Head of Compensation & Benefits Americas leads the regional compensation and benefits agenda, combining deep technical expertise with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed and evolving organization. The role translates global direction into practical regional solutions, establishes governance, and ensures disciplined execution across diverse markets and stakeholder groups. As a trusted partner to the VP People & Culture Americas, the role provides sound judgement, constructive challenge and hands-on leadership on reward matters.

The role leads the Compensation & Benefits team for Brazil providing dedicated guidance and reward expertise for Brazil. While the team’s direct delivery focus is Brazil, the Head of Compensation & Benefits Americas is accountable for strategy, governance, stakeholder leadership and oversight of Compensation & Benefits across the full Americas region.

Regional leadership and governance

· Own the Compensation & Benefits agenda for the Americas, translating global frameworks and business priorities into competitive, equitable and regionally and/or locally relevant solutions.

· Lead regional policies, annual cycles, job evaluation and reward programs, balancing consistency with market, legal and business needs.

· Establish clear governance, decision rights and controls, and use market, pay equity and cost data to guide decisions.

Advisory and execution

· Serve as trusted Compensation & Benefits partner to the VP People & Culture Americas and senior leaders, providing expertise, sound judgement and constructive challenge.

· Navigate main stakeholders, competing priorities and ambiguity to build alignment, resolve obstacles and deliver outcomes.

· Partner across People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tax and Payroll, and represent Americas priorities in global forums and transformation initiatives.

· Manage base salary structures and compensation frameworks and review market trends to ensure market competitiveness and internal consistency.

Team leadership and Brazil delivery

· Lead and develop the Compensation & Benefits team, setting clear priorities and high service standards.

· Ensure effective day-to-day support for Brazil while maintaining focus on the regional Americas mandate.

· Build regional capability and manage external advisers and vendors as required.

Perfil | Formação e conhecimentos

Experience and qualifications

· Solid professional backgwround across compensation, incentives, benefits, job evaluation and reward governance, including deep technical expertise gained in a matrixed international organization.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related fields.

· Advanced degrees, professional certifications or recognized Compensation & Benefits qualifications are an advantage.

· Demonstrated experience leading a regional or multi-country agenda and translating global frameworks into practical, locally relevant solutions.

· Proven ability to operate in a complex, matrixed and not always process-driven environment, bringing clarity, structure and disciplined execution where ways of working are still evolving.

· Strong track record of getting things done across multiple stakeholders, functions and geographies, including through influence rather than formal authority.

· Sound judgement and resilience when working with ambiguity, competing priorities and incomplete information, while maintaining appropriate governance and control.

· High credibility as a senior business partner on compensation & benefits matters, with the confidence to advise, challenge and influence executives on sensitive and complex reward matters.

· Proven people leadership experience, including developing specialists and setting clear priorities across strategic and operational work.

· Strong business, financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to assess cost, risk and business impact and turn complex data into clear recommendations.

· Fluent written and spoken English. Portuguese and/or Spanish are strong advantages.
