POSITION : SVP, Strategy & Offerings (Full Time, Exempt)
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
COMPENSATION: Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $225,000 - $280,000 plus bonus potential. Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. We offer health, vision, dental, and pet insurance. SUMMARY
The SVP, Strategy & Offerings role at Cardinal Group Management & Advisory, LLC is a key executive position responsible for driving the company's growth and operational success through strategic leadership, efficient process management, and technology implementation. The SVP reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is tasked with providing seasoned strategic leadership in coordination with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Leadership team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Champion the Cardinal Culture and Cardinals Core Values every day.
- Manage processes to evaluate and manage the intake of ideas for new services to be offered across Cardinals customer base.
- Manage the executive steering committee to drive towards data-driven decisions and prioritization of services offered to Cardinals customer base.
- Partner with executive leaders to build and manage go-to-market strategies and market positioning.
- Partner with executive leaders to establish pricing and profitability targets.
- Manage the successful rollout of new services across Cardinals customer base.
- Articulate the strategy of products and services used to drive real estate performance.
- Articulate the strategy behind buy, build or partner for the products and services determined to be critical for driving real estate performance.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and identify ancillary revenue opportunities for services.
- Program Manage the successful rollout of products and services across the portfolio of 200+ communities.
- Manage stakeholders, SMEs and project team members.
- Conduct steering committee and project status meetings.
- Manage risks and issues.
- Attend virtual and in-person conferences to build industry peer and vendor relationships.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The SVP, Strategy & Offerings role is defined as a cross-functional position with organizational and supervisory responsibilities at the executive management level, specifically over Officers of business units. Furthermore, this role shares informational and advisory responsibilities with the CEO, Alex OBrien, regarding all operations, centralized services, and technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 15+ years total experience in an executive role with a history of growth, increasing responsibility, and promotion as part of a large ($50M+) organization.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a variety of audiences, able to influence effectively at all levels.
- Strategic-minded and highly adaptable to understanding all aspects of multiple industries.
- Ability to understand large amounts of data and to produce actionable financial analysis quickly.
- Proactive, collaborative, "hands on" management style with the ability to partner with an executive team at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence – ability to manage, develop, and motivate staff.
- Superior analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently organize diverse and varied activities and operations in support of overall business strategies.
- Multifamily Real Estate industry experience strongly preferred.
- Systems implementation experience preferred.
