What You'll Do
As a Working Student in our Risk and Compliance Practice, you’ll support the team on a range of operational and strategic topics. You’ll contribute to projects that help the team develop insights, maintain knowledge resources, and support effective ways of working.
You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 – max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.
Working closely with colleagues, you’ll combine analytical and organizational responsibilities while building your understanding of risk and compliance topics and BCG’s approach to them.
- Support internal projects through research, analysis, and online questionnaires.
- Research risk and compliance topics and contribute to internal benchmarks.
- Help maintain internal tools, databases, and other knowledge resources.
- Prepare clear, accurate content for internal communications and newsletters.
- Support the organization of team events and meetings.
- Contribute to marketing and other Practice activities as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in economics, social sciences, or a related field.
- Interest in risk and compliance, with relevant internship or working-student experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to your work.
- Confidence using Excel and PowerPoint, combined with strong AI literacy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities reliably.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- A collaborative, service-oriented approach with high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Who You'll Work With
You’ll be part of BCG’s Risk and Compliance Practice, working with colleagues who bring expertise across a range of risk and compliance topics. You’ll collaborate with team members across regional and global networks, contributing to shared projects, knowledge resources, and Practice activities.
The team works collaboratively across locations, giving you opportunities to learn from different perspectives while contributing to the day-to-day work of the Practice.
