Senior Recovery Coordinator - New Vision Bradford

Location: Base location will be New Vision Bradford, 10 Currer Street, Bradford, BD1 5BA, however travel across sites is required.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week Monday–Friday - hours worked are flexible

Contract Type: Fixed Term Secondment until 31/03/2029
Salary: £25,877.80 - £34,240.03 per annum

About the Role:

This role will support the Outreach Coordinator in leading the delivery of an effective street outreach service across Bradford, ensuring people sleeping rough or at risk of rough sleeping are identified, engaged and supported into appropriate accommodation and services. The Deputy Coordinator will provide day-to-day operational support, oversee outreach activity, and help develop strong partnership working to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

Outreach Delivery:

- Support the planning and coordination of daily outreach activities across Bradford.

- Undertake regular outreach shifts, including early morning, evening, and welfare visits where required.

- Ensure rough sleeping reports are responded to promptly and effectively.

- Lead on engagement with individuals who are rough sleeping, sofa surfing, or at risk of homelessness.

- Promote a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to support.

Case Management:

- Support complex casework and provide guidance to outreach workers.
- Ensure assessments, support plans, risk assessments and case notes are completed to a high standard.
- Monitor outcomes, including accommodation placements, reconnections, and sustainment of housing.
- Assist with safeguarding concerns and multi-agency risk management processes.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

Essential:

- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above or equivalent) or willing to work towards this in post.
- Understanding of and ability to implement interventions including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.
- Experience delivering 1-2-1 and group therapeutic interventions.
- Experience of working with carers and families.
- Driving licence and access to a vehcile.

Desirable:

- Relevant professional qualification e.g. addiction studies, counselling, social work, therapeutic qualification.
- Working with models of service delivery and issues relating to recovery planning.
- Working with best practice frameworks e.g. NICE, DOH, NTA, NMC, Care Quality Commission & Caldicott Standards.
- Experience carrying out assessment and recovery planning and risk management plans.
- Knowledge of working within Safeguarding and Hidden Harm.
- Experience of using Management Information Systems.
