About this role
Duran Golf Club, a subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons, Inc., is seeking a Part-Time Development Center Inside Operations to support the day-to-day operations of the Development Center and help create an exceptional experience for every guest. In this role, you'll assist golfers, process transactions, support merchandise and food & beverage sales, maintain practice facilities, and help ensure the Development Center runs smoothly each day.
Required Availability
This position requires availability on weekends and holidays. Typical shifts are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday ( 1:00pm-9:00pm ) as well as Tuesday opening shifts ( 6:00am-2:00pm ).
Part-time team members will be scheduled based on business needs and will not be scheduled for all listed shifts each week. Availability for these days and times is required.
Job Duties
- Perform opening, interim, and closing procedures
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests
- Process sales, returns, customer information, and play times using the point-of-sale system
- Assist with the display, inventory, promotion, and sale of golf merchandise and food and beverage items
- Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Development Center, practice tee, surrounding areas, and short course
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 1 year of golf operations or retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of golf and strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to complete required alcohol compliance training within 30 days of employment
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekend and holidays as business needs change
