Packaging Engineer

Position Title: Packaging Engineer
Duration: 6 Months +
Pay Rate: $35 - $40.44/hr on W2
Location: El Segundo, CA

Job Description
We are looking for a curious, organized, and motivated individual to join a fast-paced packaging engineering environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to packaging development, materials testing, project coordination, documentation, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
 Support packaging development and testing activities for new materials and components.
 Prepare and coordinate test requests and review test reports to support project decisions.
 Maintain accurate project documentation, data, and technical records.
 Perform data cleanup, organization, and documentation updates across project systems.
 Support sustainability and recyclability initiatives, including relevant data collection.
 Coordinate information and data requests required for ongoing projects.
 Follow up on project action items and support implementation activities from concept through launch.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, and other stakeholders.
 Assist with data gathering, project tracking, and general engineering support activities.
 Contribute to continuous improvement and other packaging-related projects as required.

Requirements
We are looking for someone who is curious, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a dynamic packaging environment.

Required Qualifications:
 Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
 Strong organizational and documentation skills.
 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
 Business-level English communication skills.
