About this role
Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Location: Orlando, FL
Work Arrangement: Full Time, On-Site
Biller Genie is looking for a Senior Account Manager with real business acumen to own our most complex subscriber relationships from the first implementation call through a fully configured quote-to-cash solution. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will map how each subscriber’s revenue cycle runs, from quote to invoice to payment to reconciliation, configure Biller Genie to solve their specific needs, and attach the payment solutions that deliver immediate, measurable results.
This is a high-velocity, performance-driven role that blends consultative selling and implementation. It is not an entry-level position, and it is not an enterprise sales cycle: our Account Managers close several deals every day, not one a month. As a Senior Account Manager, you will take on our most complex implementations and help shape how the team works. We are looking for proven phone-based closers who can earn the trust of business owners, controllers, accountants, and bookkeepers, and who want to be the top performer on the team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Own a book of new subscribers, including our largest and most complex accounts, from the first implementation call through full quote-to-cash configuration, serving as their single point of contact.
- Lead implementation calls across the full quote-to-cash cycle: quoting, invoicing, payment acceptance, collections, and reconciliation back to the subscriber’s accounting software, including multi-entity, high-volume, and non-standard workflows.
- Run deep discovery into each subscriber’s revenue cycle, from how they quote and bill to how cash is collected, applied, and reconciled, to pinpoint the key functions and problems they need solved.
- Design and configure tailored solutions independently, including complex and non-standard configurations, using sound judgment to choose the right features, settings, and workflow changes for each subscriber.
- Sell and attach Biller Genie payment solutions, including credit card processing, ACH, bill pay, and, as they launch, lending products, to grow the revenue on every account.
- Sell consultatively: recommend the plan and features that show the subscriber an immediate return on investment, and let that value drive upgrades and attach.
- Train subscribers and their teams, drive feature adoption, and show measurable results in their own data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for owners, controllers, accountants, and bookkeepers, answering accounting and accounts receivable questions with guidance consistent with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Help shape the implementation playbook, discovery frameworks, and best practices the team uses, working with leadership.
- Transition fully implemented, healthy accounts to our Subscriber Success team with complete documentation.
- Collaborate with our Product team and bring back subscriber feedback and field insights that sharpen our go-to-market motion and improve the experience.
- Manage your own pipeline and forecast with minimal oversight, keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, and consistently meet or beat targets for closed deals, payments attach, upgrades, adoption, and time to implementation.
Essential Criteria:
- 5+ years of advanced account management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments. Account management experience is required.
- Proven track record of phone-based consultative sales in a high-volume B2B environment, closing multiple deals a day and finishing at or near the top of the team.
- Thrives in a performance-based culture where earning potential is uncapped and results are rewarded.
- Experience implementing and configuring B2B software for small and mid-sized businesses, including complex or non-standard setups.
- Strong business acumen and deep working knowledge of accounting and revenue cycle management, including quoting, invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation, with a solid grasp of GAAP.
- Command of discovery and qualification frameworks, a range of closing techniques, and objection handling.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions with limited direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence running back-to-back phone and video calls.
- Strong organization and follow-through across many accounts at once.
- Salesforce proficiency.
Desirable Criteria:
- QuickBooks experience.
- Accounting or finance background, such as a degree in accounting or finance or a bookkeeping certification.
- Experience in payments, merchant services, lending, or working with channel partners.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped variable compensation
- Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
- Open PTO policy
- 401(k) with company match
- A clear path for growth in a fast-scaling fintech company
