This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant with expertise in R&D technology platforms, particularly IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) and Ketryx . The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, R&D teams, and IT teams to optimize engineering processes, improve requirements management, and support digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, quality, and business teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Support implementation, configuration, and optimization of IBM ELM and Ketryx platforms.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and technology solutions.
- Improve requirements management, traceability, change management, and engineering workflows.
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and business process improvement.
- Support system integration, data migration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare functional documentation, business requirements, and user training materials.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong experience as a Business Consultant, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant within R&D or engineering technology environments.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
- Experience with Ketryx for product development lifecycle management, traceability, or compliance.
- Understanding of requirements management, engineering lifecycle processes, and change control.
- Experience gathering business requirements, conducting workshops, and managing stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
