About this role
The Bright Horizons Clinician provides compassionate, person-centered mental health services to older adults throughout Ocean County, helping clients navigate life’s challenges while maintaining their independence, emotional well-being, and quality of life. Through in-home counseling, clinicians build meaningful relationships with clients, develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adapt interventions to support each person’s unique goals.
**Flexible opportunities are available for part-time and per diem clinicians.** Part-time clinicians maintain a manageable caseload of approximately five clients per week, while per diem clinicians have the flexibility to accept cases based on availability and program needs. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in the community while enjoying a flexible schedule.

Department: Bright Horizons - Adult Clinical Services
- Provide individual therapy to older adults in their homes throughout Ocean County, with a focus on maintaining independence, emotional well-being, and quality of life.
- Provide telehealth services when clinically appropriate and convenient for clients.
- Conduct office-based therapy sessions as part of a flexible service delivery model.
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, strengths, and goals.
- Address concerns commonly experienced by older adults, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment, isolation, life transitions, and family-related stressors.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions and treatment goals as needed to support meaningful outcomes.
- Coordinate care with family members, caregivers, primary care providers, and other behavioral health professionals, as appropriate.
- Connect clients with community resources and supportive services that promote stability, social connection, and continued independence.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure services are delivered in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical consultation, supervision, and other activities that support coordinated, high-quality care.

- LCSW or LPC Required
- Valid NJ Driver's License with less than six points
- Experience with the elder populations
