About the Role

The Government Contracts Specialist will serve as a key owner of government purchasing vehicles and contract relationships, ensuring contracts remain compliant, commercially viable, and aligned with business needs. Working closely with government customers, contracting officers, and internal stakeholders, you will manage contract activities throughout the full lifecycle while helping simplify and improve the government purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary business owner for assigned federal and state government contract vehicles, including the GSA Multiple Award Schedule, FEDLINK agreements, state MSAs, and other strategic purchasing vehicles.
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned contracts, including initial awards, modifications, renewals, extensions, amendments, product and pricing updates, and contract closeout activities.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of contract expiration dates, renewal windows, reporting deadlines, modification requirements, and other key milestones.
- Proactively initiate renewals and modifications to prevent lapses in contract coverage or disruptions to government customers.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract files, documentation, correspondence, amendments, pricing schedules, and related records.
- Ensure contract information is accurately reflected in internal systems and customer-facing government procurement platforms.
- Partner with Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to support contract administration and business objectives.
- Identify and resolve contract-related issues before they impact customers or the business.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills when working with customers, contracting officers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
- Ability to analyze contract requirements and identify risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $59,200 - $98,600. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
