TITLES SPECIALIST
Van Chevrolet/Cadillac/Subaru – Kansas City Metro
Full-Time | Hourly | $17–$20 per hour based on experience
JOIN THE VAN TEAM
Van Chevrolet/Cadillac/Subaru is looking for an experienced Titles Specialist to join our Accounting Department.
This is a full-time position for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and understands the importance of getting vehicle titles processed correctly and on time. Automotive title experience is strongly preferred.
If you have dealership title experience and know how to work through Missouri, Kansas, and out-of-state title requirements, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Process new and used vehicle titles accurately and efficiently
- Complete title work for Missouri, Kansas, and out-of-state transactions
- Work with DMV offices and other state agencies as needed
- Utilize MADA systems and dealership title-processing systems
- Review deals and paperwork to ensure all title requirements are complete
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to resolve title issues
- Communicate with customers, lenders, auctions, and other dealerships regarding title status
- Maintain accurate and organized title records
- Track outstanding titles and follow up to keep transactions moving
- Assist with month-end accounting and reconciliation as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and vehicle records
- Handle additional administrative duties as assigned by the Controller
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous automotive dealership title experience
- Knowledge of Missouri and Kansas title procedures
- Experience working with DMV requirements and title documentation
- MADA experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple titles and deadlines at the same time
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of an accounting team
- A dependable work history and strong references
