Accounts Payable Associate

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. This role involves creating, coding, and auditing vendor invoices, processing expense reimbursements, and handling client refunds. The position is temporary, providing support for a new system implementation until February 2027. Responsibilities

- Create, code, and audit vendor invoices in the Procure-to-Pay system.
- Audit and approve employee expense reimbursements in Concur.
- Process check requests and client refunds through electronic forms.
- Code payments in accordance with Accounts Payable instructions.
- Integrate and post invoice files into Business Central.
- Audit invoice batches for accuracy and reconcile vendor statements.
- Research outstanding invoices and assist with monitoring the Accounts Payable email account.
- Assist with new vendor setup procedures and distribute checks as instructed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

- Accounts payable expertise.
- Invoice processing and reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Excel.
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with invoicing procedures.

Work Environment

- This role requires working on-site from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
