Job Summary:
Keystone Lodge & Spa is seeking an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Senior Food & Beverage Manager to lead and elevate all food and beverage operations across the resort. This leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, service excellence, and daily operations of Bighorn Bistro & Bar , Lakeside Café , Breakfast Operations , and Banquet & Catering Services .
In addition to operational leadership, this position will serve as the driving force behind the creation and execution of memorable guest experiences throughout the property, including live music events, seasonal activations, lakeside programming, culinary experiences, and community engagement initiatives that enhance the overall resort experience and drive revenue.
The Senior Food & Beverage Manager will lead a diverse team of managers and hourly associates, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, strong financial performance, and a culture of service, teamwork, and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:
Food & Beverage Operations Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for:
Bighorn Bistro & Bar
- Lakeside Café
- Breakfast Operations
- Banquet & Catering Services
- Ensure consistent execution of service standards and memorable guest experiences across all outlets.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.
- Partner closely with Culinary leadership to develop menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
- Oversee staffing plans, scheduling, labor management, and productivity initiatives.
- Conduct regular operational audits and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Guest Experience & Resort Activations
- Develop, plan, and execute unique guest experiences that enhance the resort atmosphere and drive visitation.
- Lead programming efforts for:
Live music performances
- Lakeside events and activations
- Holiday and seasonal celebrations
- Specialty dining experiences
- Wine, beer, and culinary events
- Community and resort-wide engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Activities, and Resort Operations teams to promote and execute events.
- Evaluate guest feedback and market trends to continually enhance offerings.
Financial Management
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across all food and beverage venues.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance including:
Revenue
- Labor costs
- Food costs
- Beverage costs
- Operating expenses
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability through innovative programming, operational efficiencies, and cost controls.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and purchasing practices.
Banquet & Catering Leadership
- Oversee banquet operations and execution of weddings, conferences, meetings, and social events.
- Ensure seamless communication between Sales, Culinary, and Operations teams.
- Maintain exceptional execution standards for all group and catering events.
- Support business development efforts through creative event concepts and enhanced guest experiences.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop managers and team members.
- Create a culture focused on service excellence, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning activities.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and retention.
- Lead by example through visible, hands-on leadership and operational presence.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all company standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Support risk management initiatives and emergency response procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout all operations.
Job Requirements:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 4+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience
- Demonstrated success managing budgets, labor costs, and financial performance.
- Experience leading large teams in a hotel, resort, conference center, or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
- Luxury resort or destination hospitality experience.
- Banquet and catering management experience.
- Experience planning and executing entertainment programming, special events, or guest activations.
- Knowledge of ski resort or mountain hospitality operations.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications.
The expected pay range is $72,382.00 - $103,403.00 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
