About this role

CDIT Solutions
is seeking an experienced Senior Storage Administrator / Engineer to join the
Corporate Storage Team in support of a mission-critical federal customer
engagement. The successful candidate will own day-to-day administration of
enterprise backup systems and storage infrastructure, lead complex
troubleshooting across backup appliances and SAN environments, and partner
closely with the ISSO on patching and SSP re-authorization activities.

Key
Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage enterprise backup systems, including
NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubrik.

• Partner with customers to onboard new servers and VMs
into backup coverage and troubleshoot backup-related issues.

• Configure new backup solutions as they are acquired and
introduced into the environment.

• Troubleshoot and coordinate break-fix activities for
backup appliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubrik) and disk arrays, including
Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast, and IBM storage arrays.

• Monitor and resolve SAN issues using command-line
troubleshooting and zoning.

• Work with the ISSO to ensure vulnerabilities are
promptly identified and patched.

• Support the ISSO throughout SSP (System Security Plan)
re-authorization activities.

Required
Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
(FSP).

• CompTIA Security+ CE certification (or higher).

• 10+ years of relevant experience as a System
Administrator or Storage Administrator.

• Hands-on expertise administering enterprise backup
platforms (NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).

• Experience administering enterprise storage arrays
(Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast, IBM).

• Proficiency with SAN troubleshooting and zoning via
command-line interfaces.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with ISSO personnel
on patching cycles and SSP activities.

Preferred
Qualifications

• Experience operating in high-availability and disaster
recovery environments.

• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Bash,
Python, PowerShell, or similar) to streamline backup and storage operations.

• Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community or
DoD mission environments.
