TMI is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Building Automation Specialist 2 position for our branch operations group located at our Chesterfield, Missouri facility. The Building Automation Specialist 2 resolves common to moderately complex BAS issues through a combination of remote diagnostics and targeted on-site support. Acts as a primary resolver for routine monitoring and service events.

Position Responsibilities May include:
- Diagnose and resolve alarms related to sensors, communication, schedules, and control devices.
- Perform corrective adjustments within approved system limits.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting support to confirm physical causes and outcomes.
- Assist field technicians with diagnostics, recovery, and validation.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Regularly scheduled and responsive on-site and in-office work to support troubleshooting and system verification.
- Exercises independent judgment within contractual and technical guardrails.
Nature & Scope:
- Has working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical/scientific methods or operational processes
- Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
- Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
- Works with a moderate degree of supervision
Knowledge & Skills:
- Advanced In depth understanding of built environment, low voltage systems, MEP, and IAQ
- Intermediate programming in various languages and block logic.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC
Experience
- 1+ years of experience
- Servicing and programming (Not configuration) controllers for central plants, stand alone units, and buildings utilizing advanced line code.
- Required HVAC experience.
- Required Building Automation experience
- Required data analysis experience
- Required presentation and training experience
- Required diagnostic troubleshooting experience and Root Cause Analysis
Education/Certification: High School GED required.
People Management: No
