About this role

Are you ready to work at one main location with a steady schedule instead of driving from site to site? The Cigna Group is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Pharmacy Rx Fulfillment Center. In this hands-on role, you will help keep the building, equipment, and grounds safe and running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic installation work on building systems. This may include HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, painting, and carpentry. You will work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment where safety, teamwork, communication, and good customer service are important. This position is performed onsite at one main location, with on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic installation work on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems, including emergency generators, UPS systems, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, lighting, and plumbing.
- Use basic trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical work, and painting.
- Monitor building systems to help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Complete assigned work orders on time and provide good customer service.
- Follow company procedures when inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and request additional help when needed.
- Respond to service calls, tickets, and requests from the site operations team.
- Escort contractors and vendors while they are working onsite.
- Build positive working relationships and communicate clearly with team members, vendors, and internal customers.
- Follow all company safety requirements, OSHA guidelines, codes, regulations, and building safety requirements.
- Use basic financial and cost knowledge when supporting maintenance work.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of related maintenance experience and/or training.
- Valid driver's license.
- HVAC experience preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and review work documents and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work safely around building equipment and systems.
- Strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
- Ability to complete OSHA 10 training within 6 months of hire.
- Basic computer and mobile device skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and lift or carry 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work onsite at one main location.
- Ability to work a set schedule, such as Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with on-call support as needed.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 29 - 43 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
