As a Production Control Systems (PCS) Assistant Engineer, you will support the design, development, integration, and delivery of subsea production control systems within the Technology and Projects organization. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will contribute to engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, including concept development, detailed engineering, manufacturing support, testing, and field deployment

As PCS Assistant Engineer , you will be responsible for:

- Collaborating with global engineering teams to support the delivery of subsea production control system projects and studies.

- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in both Portuguese and English.

- Developing engineering deliverables such as manufacturing drawings, 3D models, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, system architecture drawings, procedures, technical reports, and datasheets.

- Supporting the design and integration of subsea Production Control Systems (PCS), including electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation, and communications interfaces.

- Assisting with system-level engineering activities involving SCMs, topside control equipment, subsea distribution systems, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.

- Supporting FAT, SIT, integration testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

- Developing technical documentation in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.

- Supporting engineering change management, configuration management, and product lifecycle management activities.

- Utilizing engineering tools such as Creo, AutoCAD, Teamcenter, SAP, Visio, and Microsoft Office to prepare and control project deliverables.

- Participating in technical reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in progress.

- Be fluent in written and spoken English or at least intermediary.

- Have knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, industrial control systems, or automation engineering principles.

- Experience with subsea production systems and control system integration is desirable.

- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

- Have a strong commitment to quality, safety, and project execution excellence.

- Be willing to learn and develop expertise in subsea production systems, offshore engineering, and production control systems (PCS).

- Possess a manufacturing, delivery, and cost-conscious mindset.

Desirable

- Skilled in Engineering Database set up and configuration (SAP or Team Center);

- Skilled in engineering software, including AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, Visio, and Microsoft Project (MSP).

- Understanding of subsea production systems.
