As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment. This position provides oversight of daily clinical operations, staffing, patient flow, and quality initiatives, helping to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care aligned with Mercy's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee patient care delivery, ensuring care is coordinated according to patient needs and staff competencies.
- Manage staffing resources to support safe patient care, operational efficiency, and optimal patient flow.
- Serve as a trusted leader, mentor, and coach by providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture through staff engagement, recognition, and shared governance initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with providers, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to address patient care and operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement projects, and root cause analyses to enhance patient outcomes.
- Address patient and family concerns with professionalism and compassion while promoting service recovery and patient satisfaction.
- Help drive operational excellence by balancing quality care, patient experience, and resource stewardship.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience required.
- Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
Certifications
- AHA Healthcare Provider certification required upon hire or within the probationary period.
- ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS certifications as applicable to the department.
