Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Lead Analyst, FP&A Enterprise Business Partners (EBP), IT, located in Raritan, NJ.

The Lead Analyst, FP&A Enterprise Business Partners (EBP), IT serves as a finance lead and trusted partner to Enterprise IT leaders, delivering forward-looking analysis, planning leadership, and decision support across IT operations, projects, and transformation initiatives. The role leads key FP&A processes, translates complex financial and operational data into actionable insights, and influences prioritization, resource allocation, cost optimization, and value realization. The position works across FP&A, IT, and enterprise teams in a complex matrix and provides guidance to business partners through disciplined execution, clear communication, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial analysis, insight generation, and executive-ready reporting for Enterprise IT leaders, proactively highlighting business drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate on significant components of the annual operating plan, forecast, and long-range financial planning processes for Enterprise IT, including operating expense, project spend, and investment outlooks.
- Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews by analyzing actual results versus plan and forecast, explaining variances, and coordinating actions with budget owners and finance partners.
- · Develop and maintain complex financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for IT investments, transformation initiatives, sourcing decisions, and portfolio prioritization.
- Provide financial leadership for assigned IT portfolios or initiatives, including establishing assumptions, monitoring commitments, assessing value delivery, and escalating material issues.
- Prepare and present concise financial narratives, dashboards, and recommendations for IT leadership, finance governance forums, and senior management.
- Drive cost optimization, productivity, and value-capture initiatives across Enterprise IT, partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities and track outcomes.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders and promote alignment with enterprise financial processes, controls, assumptions, governance, and timelines.
- Identify, design, and implement improvements to forecasting, reporting, analytical tools, data quality, and FP&A processes to increase speed, accuracy, and insight.
- Operate with a high degree of independence, manage competing priorities, and represent IT FP&A in cross-functional workstreams and decision forums.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

Experience and Skills Required

- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role, with demonstrated ownership of complex planning and decision-support activities.
- Advanced analytical, financial-modeling, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead planning, forecasting, performance-management, or business-case workstreams from definition through delivery.
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills, including the ability to constructively challenge assumptions and align stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting concise financial narratives and recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with enterprise financial planning, reporting, and visualization tools.
- Strong organization, judgment, and accountability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.

Preferred

- Experience supporting IT, digital, technology, or enterprise transformation organizations.
- Experience in a large, complex, or global organization with cross-functional and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Experience evaluating technology investments, project portfolios, vendor spend, or transformation value realization.
- Experience coaching analysts, reviewing work products, or leading project teams without direct authority.

Additional Information

- Location: Raritan, NJ (on‑site or hybrid per business requirements).

- Travel: Limited travel, based on business needs.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$94,000.00 - $151,800.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
