As a Bird Removal Technician, you will be the face of Ecolab - working directly with customers in commercial environments to identify and resolve bird-related issues. You’ll combine hands-on technical work with customer interaction, all while receiving training and support to grow your career.

What You Will Do:

- Inspect customer facilities to identify bird activity and risks
- Recommend and implement bird control solutions tailored to customer needs
- Educate customers on prevention techniques and bird behavior
- Provide responsive, high-quality service to build strong customer relationships
- Adapt to changing job conditions and solving problems in the field
- Travel to customer locations using your company vehicle

Position Details:

- Location: Pittsburgh, PA
- Work Week & Shift: Full Time; Tuesday – Saturday, on call
- Pay: $19-20/hr + incentive job pay
- Travel: 150 -250 mile radius of Pittsburgh, PA
- Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for travel

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Position requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
- Residence within 50 miles of Pittsburgh, PA
- Ecolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offer
- Due to federal contract requirements, this position requires a drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offer
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and use lifts
- Ability to travel long distances to customer sites

- Experience in pest control, wildlife control, or field service roles
- Customer service experience
- Mechanical or equipment operation experience
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total Compensation range for this position is $48,700-$73,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
