Maintenance Technician - Full-Time
Are you a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in solving problems, delivering quality work, and keeping communities looking their best? Associa is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks at residential communities while utilizing a company-provided vehicle to travel between assigned properties.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across multiple residential communities. This position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure buildings, common areas, and equipment remain in excellent condition.
- Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform general repairs involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and other building maintenance tasks.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair doors, locks, windows, lighting, gutters, flooring, walls, fences, and other common area features.
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Troubleshoot building systems and identify repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, board members, and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and local regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage spaces, and company vehicle.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of general building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient with smartphones, email, and mobile work order applications.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 28 feet and perform work at varying heights.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment on a regular basis.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
