Your Team, Your Impact
This Field Applications Engineering (FAE) team supports the Processor Business Unit (PBU). PBU targets a wide variety of OEM networking and storage equipment, including routers, unified threat management (UTM) appliances, content-aware switches, application-aware gateways, triple-play gateways, WLAN, and 3G/4G/5G access and aggregation devices, storage arrays, storage networking equipment, server, and automotive components. Marvell DPU processors are the heartbeat of the network from edge to core.

What You Can Expect

Help the Sales team with technical knowledge during pre-sales phase. Provide timely responses to customer issues. Assist customers with software bring up and debug of Marvell Switch products. Guide customers on implementation of various networking protocols on Marvell Switch products. Provide customers with training about Marvell Switch features and implementation details. Write software documentation for customers. Review customer schematics and layout. Resolve issues through email, phone, conference call or/and on-site debugging. Work closely with Marketing and Application Engineering (AE) to define next generation of tools and products. National travel 25% of time to customers. Wage $195,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year.

What We're Looking For

Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience must include two (2) years with each of the following:

• Switching Software development kits (SDKs).

• SAI/SONIC for switching products.

• PCI-e, Ethernet, USB Protocol analyzers.

• Network traffic generators.

• Linux Support Package, Drivers, Firm Ware for RTOS for ARM SoC.

• U-Boot and Linux driver development on SOC.

• Configure enterprise campus switch such Cisco, H3C to interop testing with various Switches.

• Linux-based development and debugging environments.

• Ethernet switching, PHY technologies, SoC architectures.

• Networking Operation System.
