About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact
As an Analog IC Design Staff Engineer with Marvell, you’ll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. If you picture Marvell as a wheel, Central Engineering is the center hub providing IP to be used by all the other spokes on that wheel, including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. You’ll be part of a small analog team making a big impact on this organization. Additionally, Marvell has the perfect size and scale for you to learn several aspects of engineering that will be new to you, but also have the time and freedom to dive deep into the details of your specialization on most projects.

What You Can Expect

Design high speed analog to digital converters. Design analog building blocks for power-efficient Coherent transceivers AFE. Develop and validate core analog blocks in high-speed signal paths, including >60 GHz drivers and peripheral bias circuits. Design and verify analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) for high-speed optical communication products. Perform circuit and electromagnetic (EM) simulation, analysis, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools. Wage $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year.

What We're Looking For

Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept a PhD or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Must have work/internship experience or completed graduate coursework/research in each of the following:

• High-speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design, including RF and millimeter-wave architectures for broadband communication systems.

• Transistor-level circuit design and analysis in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies, including advanced gate-all-around (GAA) technology nodes, as well as BiCMOS technologies.

• Full-wave electromagnetic simulation and co-simulation using tools such as EMX and HFSS for on-chip and integrated passive structure design.

• Parasitic-aware layout design and verification methodologies for ultra-wide bandwidth RF and mixed-signal front-end circuits.

• Laboratory testing, silicon validation, and characterization of RF and high-frequency prototype integrated circuits and systems.

• Modeling, data analysis, and design evaluation using MATLAB and Python for circuit and system-level assessment.

• Using advanced circuit design and simulation environments, including Cadence Virtuoso and Advanced Design System (ADS).

• Data processing, automation, and scripting using Python and MATLAB, and programming in C/C++ and Arduino for test and control applications.

• Using RF and high-speed electrical test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and vector network analyzers (VNA).

Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is accepted.

This role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.
