Job Description:
At Regions, the Retail Performance Executive is responsible for partnering with Retail Banking leadership to develop, implement, and execute strategic initiatives to drive sales performance, service excellence, workforce effectiveness, and customer experience outcomes across the Retail Bank. This role provides leadership and oversight for Retail performance enablement functions, ensuring consistent execution of business strategies, optimization of sales and service practices, and delivery of tools, coaching, and support resources to enhance associate and organizational performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reviews Retail Banking performance metrics and identifies trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales, service, productivity, and operational effectiveness
- Partners with Consumer Banking Executive (CBE) leadership to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and consistent field execution
- Establishes accountability for execution against key performance indicators, operational expectations, and strategic objectives
- Develops and implements standardized processes that promote consistency, efficiency, and sustainable performance improvement across the Retail network
- Identifies performance gaps and implements mitigation strategies to improve business outcomes and customer experience results
- Optimizes workforce deployment and staffing strategies to maximize productivity across branch segments, markets, and job families
- Leads initiatives to improve customer engagement, sales effectiveness, and service delivery across the Retail Bank
- Utilizes data, analytics, and business insights to influence decision-making, prioritize opportunities, and drive execution strategies
- Oversees performance enablement programs designed to strengthen sales execution, service delivery, coaching effectiveness, and associate productivity
- Provides leadership and direction for Retail segment strategy execution, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and customer growth objectives
- Leads and develops a team responsible for Retail performance enablement, including segment management, sales and service performance support, financial wellness programs, coaching effectiveness, and sales support capabilities
- Oversees Retail Sales and Service Managers responsible for identifying performance trends, coaching opportunities, and sales effectiveness improvements across the Retail Bank
- Directs the Retail Market Coach function to ensure consistent field coaching practices, sales execution standards, and operational effectiveness across geographically aligned markets
- Provides strategic oversight of Financial Wellness and Education initiatives to support customer engagement, associate capability development, and business growth objectives
- Leads the Retail Sales and Service Tools Support function to ensure effective utilization, adoption, and continuous improvement of sales and service platforms and resources
- Partners with business leaders to identify capability gaps and implement development strategies to enhance associate effectiveness and leadership readiness
- Supports onboarding, talent development, succession planning, and performance improvement efforts to strengthen organizational capability and field execution
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners to implement strategic initiatives, change management efforts, and transformation activities impacting the Retail Bank
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field
- Fifteen (15) years of leadership experience in banking, retail banking, sales management, or a related financial services environment

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
