Please review the following job description:

Supports Global Capabilities Center (GCC) Transformation, an Enterprise Technology, Data, and Operations transformation involving global delivery, by integrating the portfolio of work led by initiative and workstream owners. The role creates the structure, operating discipline, and visibility needed to keep work organized and moving. This teammate maintains the integrated portfolio, converts stakeholder input into actionable plans, prepares leadership-ready communications, and monitors milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, capacity, financials, and expected value. The GCC Transformation leader remains accountable and provides direction; this role is responsible for disciplined portfolio administration, analysis, coordination, and independent follow-through within that direction.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a project or portfolio management professional who wants to grow into broader stakeholder responsibility. Early work will be performed with guidance as the teammate builds context and credibility. Responsibility, exposure, and influence are expected to increase as the teammate develops a deep understanding of the portfolio, team, and operating environment.

What Success Looks Like in the First Year
• The portfolio tracker is accurate, current, and trusted.
• Owners provide clear plans, commitments, and updates.
• Milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, capacity, financials, and expected value are visible.
• Governance sessions consistently produce decisions and closed actions.
• Leadership materials require refinement from the GCC Transformation leader, not reconstruction.
• Operating routines improve based on how work moves through them.
• The teammate handles routine portfolio engagement independently, allowing the GCC Transformation leader to prioritize strategy and executive alignment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

- Maintains the GCC Transformation portfolio tracker and related management views so that scope, ownership, status, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, capacity, financials, and expected value are accurate, current, traceable, and useful for action.
- Integrates plans and updates from initiative owners, workstream leads, internal partners, and vendors without assuming initiative-owner accountability. Builds enough understanding of the work to test information for completeness and consistency, connect issues across initiatives, and identify where action, decision, or escalation is required.
- Challenges owners when plans, commitments, assumptions, status, milestones, risks, dependencies, or value information are incomplete or inconsistent. Drives routine follow-through and closure independently, escalating matters that require leadership direction, prioritization, approval, or authority.
- Administers and improves GCC Transformation operating routines, including intake, qualification, prioritization support, integrated planning, governance, status reporting, portfolio controls, and action tracking. Uses evidence from work moving through the system to identify practical improvements without interrupting delivery.
- Coordinates the full governance cycle by developing agendas, preparing decision and status materials, facilitating meetings, documenting decisions and actions, assigning clear ownership and due dates, and driving closure after the meeting.
- Facilitates planning discussions, milestone and risk reviews, dependency resolution, and process-improvement sessions with guidance initially and with increasing independence as knowledge and credibility grow.
- Produces clear, accurate, and leadership-ready PowerPoint presentations, meeting briefs, status updates, decision materials, and stakeholder communications from incomplete or varied inputs. Develops a strong first draft that requires refinement rather than reconstruction.
- Uses Excel and other portfolio tools directly to maintain structured data, formulas, financial and capacity views, trend analysis, and management reporting. Investigates apparent data issues rather than passing them forward.
- Uses AI-enabled tools, including Copilot, to accelerate research, analysis, drafting, and synthesis while personally validating facts, logic, wording, audience fit, confidentiality, and final quality. Reads and improves AI-assisted output before sharing it.
- Coordinates vendor-provided inputs, milestones, dependencies, risks, and commitments within the integrated portfolio while formal vendor relationship and performance management remain with designated owners.
- Establishes productive working relationships across Enterprise Technology, Data, and Operations, global delivery teams, control partners, Finance, Human Resources, initiative owners, and other stakeholders needed to integrate the portfolio and resolve routine gaps.
- Supports continuous improvement of project and portfolio management practices, templates, controls, and tools based on delivery experience, stakeholder feedback, and observed breakdowns.
- Operates as a hands-on individual contributor. The role does not own transformation strategy, executive relationships, or delivery accountability assigned to initiative owners.
- Travels rarely as needed to support planning, working sessions, stakeholder engagement, or global delivery coordination.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in technical project or program management.
- Knowledge of enterprise project and program management methodologies, governance, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Five to eight years of progressively responsible project, program, or portfolio management experience, with demonstrated growth in ownership and the ability to create order and forward motion across ambiguous work.

- Experience in financial services or another heavily regulated industry.

- Strongly preferred experience working with global delivery models and geographically distributed teams; direct GCC or sourcing-transition experience is helpful but not required.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain an integrated portfolio across milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, capacity, financials, expected value, and stakeholder commitments.

- Advanced hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including structured data, formulas, analysis, and polished leadership materials.

- Excellent written communication and editing judgment, including the ability to convert incomplete inputs into a coherent, accurate, audience-appropriate first draft.

- Demonstrated ability to examine information critically, challenge incomplete or inconsistent inputs constructively, connect issues across initiatives, and drive owners toward resolution without relying on formal authority.

- Experience preparing and facilitating governance meetings, planning sessions, risk reviews, dependency discussions, and process-improvement sessions.

- Experience administering and improving project or portfolio operating routines while work is actively moving through them.

- Ability to build working knowledge of unfamiliar subject matter, earn trust, and take on increasing stakeholder responsibility over time.

- Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools responsibly to accelerate analysis and drafting while retaining personal accountability for accuracy, quality, and judgment.

- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, process-improvement, or comparable certification is preferred but not required.
