What You'll Do
As the Maintenance Director, you will oversee maintenance operations for our Independent Living and Assisted Living community while ensuring a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the interior and exterior appearance of the community
- Overseeing preventive maintenance programs and building repairs
- Coordinating repairs related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Preparing apartments for new resident move-ins and refreshing units after move-outs
- Ensuring compliance with life safety regulations, building codes, and state requirements
- Managing fire safety inspections, emergency preparedness records, and required maintenance documentation
- Maintaining community equipment and ensuring proper operation and staff training
- Monitoring grounds, landscaping, and overall curb appeal
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance, facilities, apartment, hotel, healthcare, or building operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and vendor coordination is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner
- Passion for serving seniors and providing exceptional customer service
