We are searching for the best talent for WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR I (Fixed Term 6 Months) for Ethicon Endo in Ciudad Juarez.

Purpose: To provide direct supervision to Warehouse Coordinators and Associates, Materials Coordinators and Associates, Warehouse and/or Materials Clerk. Achieves elevated level of satisfaction through a highly efficient performance in Receiving, Storage, Handling, Dispatching, Shipping and Materials Flow, Materials Movement thru Supply Chain Processes assuring Quality of Goods. Accountable to provide coaching and people development.

You will be responsible for: In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

- Ensure appropriate Resources and Equipment to support all Warehouse's and Kitting Room's Personnel Activities.
- Responsible for developing and adhering to financial budget.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Will be responsible for the day today supervisory and administrative activities. Delegates and supervises work assignments to Warehouse and Kitting Room Personnel (Coordinators, Clerks and/or Associates) ensuring continuous and efficient workflow.
- Supervises process of material management of raw materials, warehousing, replenishment systems management, and finished goods. Supervise that all Shipping and Receiving activities and processes in plant are followed according to procedures. Work as a liaison between manufacturing, domestic and affiliate ship locations.
- Ability to supervise operations in one or more Warehouse Areas, in one or more Facilities, including the Kitting Rooms.
- Communicates with Supervisors, Vendors, and Staff to resolve any problems and/or concerns. Cultivate both internal/external relationships and partnerships.

- Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.
- Develop, Implement and Compliance to Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures in Warehouse, Kitting Room, and Manufacturing Floor for the oversight team.
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
- Assure Warehouse and Kitting Rooms complies with all regulatory requirements for logistics processes. Develops and enforces procedures for the safe storage and movement of material in and out of the Warehouse and Kitting Rooms. Enforces all safety and environmental regulations.
- Provides support to ongoing initiatives related to safety and ergonomics programs. Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objectives of the plant.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Support Internal and External Audits (Compliance, Quality System, EHS&S, etc.).
- Responsible for Quality and Compliance Management to include disposition of quality issues (NC, CAPA, observations, etc.). Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities.
- Supervise Materials and Warehouse Associates, Coordinators, and Clerks in the attainment of business goals in Compliance to Quality Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, Data Integrity, Materials Control Procedures, Housekeeping and Safety Policies.
- Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring Inventory Accuracy in all Storage Locations within Warehouse, Kitting Room and/or Manufacturing floor (Work Centers). Troubleshoots immediate inventory inaccuracies thru corrects inventory on system where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, or overall operation. Manage inventory accuracy objectives by supporting cycle counting process and/or physical inventories.
- Supports Physical Inventories, Cycle Count program, and SOX audits.
- Coordinates Physical Inventories, Cycle Counting, Surplus, Obsoletes, Engineering Changes, and other Inventory and/or Planning Reduction Activities.
- Provides information assistance for Inventory policies and /or procedures.
- Drives Lean / Six Sigma Continuous Improvement and/or Kaizens Projects.
- Provides support to projects in respective areas as needed.
- Participates in projects to improve material flow and space efficiencies to include internal and external partners. Drives Warehouse & Kitting Rooms layout configurations to assure new product or transfers into the plant.
- Management of process, policies, and standardization of work across manufacturing sites and flow efficiencies between them. Responsible for materials flow between Warehouse and other Ethicon Distribution Centers and in/out manufacturing. Works with other relevant departments to coordinate flow of materials or products and for planning purposes.
- Responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of Components, WIP and Packaging Materials required in Manufacturing Areas as well as keeping the Warehouse and Kitting Rooms Components, WIP and/or Packaging Materials levels on target assuring a good level of communication between Production Planners and Purchasing.
- Prioritizes workloads, monitors, and adjusts daily work schedules and distributes projects to ensure schedules are met.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed. Performs other jobs as required. Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.

Qualifications / Requirements:

EDUCATION: Degree or equivalent in technical, Engineering, Business Administration or Logistics.

EXPERIENCE: Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities:

- Experience in Materials and/or Inventory Control preferred.
- Project Management skills preferred.
- Financial and Budget Management Experience preferred.
- 0-2 years of related Supervisory Experience in Warehouse and Materials Management (Preferred).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS:

- Bilingual: English/ Spanish.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.

- Knowledge of Inventory Control Systems: FIFO, FEFO, Kanban, JIT, Safety Stock, Minimum/Maximum Stock Levels, Reorder Point, Supermarket, MRP, etc.
- Knowledge on Physical Inventory Controls and Cycle Count Program, based on Pareto’s 80/20 principles (ABC Codes), Focused on Inventory Accuracy with attention to detail.
- Lean and/or 6 Sigma Certification.
- Knowledge on correct usage of PIV's and Safety Rules, Correct use of Manual Pallet Jack and other utility carts for materials movement.
- ISO Standards Knowledge (ISO13485, ISO14001 Preferred), Quality Systems & Compliance. Processes Documentation, and SOPs Generation & Update Skills.
- Knowledge on EHS&S Safety Requirements: NOMs, OSHA, etc.
- Knowledge on Receiving, Storage, Handling and Disposal of Chemicals Products.
- Proficient user of MS Office, Excel (Data Mining reporting skills through MS Excel or equivalent), Word, PowerPoint.
- ERP's Inventory Control System Knowledge (JDE E1, JDE One World, Citrix, and/or SAP, preferred).
- Basic understanding of technical terminology and applications.
- Customer service focus.
