Description
Las Vegas, NV | Web designer | Web developer | UX/UI | Front-end | HTML | CSS | JavaScript | CMS | Multi-site | Inventory feed integration | Platform migration | AI tools | Digital marketing | Shared services | Automotive retail | Portfolio required | Veterans encouraged to apply | $75,000 - $85,000/yr
IS THIS YOU?
• You've owned web design and development across a multi-site or multi-brand portfolio -- design systems, component libraries, platform migrations, and inventory feed integrations are work you've done on live, customer-facing websites, not just in concept
• You work efficiently at a high standard, you use AI tools to accelerate your output rather than avoid learning the craft, and you can show both in a portfolio -- which is required to be considered for this role
WHO WE ARE
Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
Our Shared Services team in Las Vegas supports marketing, digital, HR, legal, and operations across a multi-brand organization with 20+ brands and 40+ rooftops. The Web Designer & Developer owns the visual design, UX, and front-end development for Swickard's full website portfolio -- building and maintaining the design standards, integrations, and guest-facing experiences that support lead generation and conversion across every brand and location we operate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead the visual design, UX, and information architecture across Swickard's multi-brand, multi-location website portfolio -- ensuring a consistent, intuitive, and conversion-focused experience across all domains
• Develop and maintain web design standards -- design systems, component libraries, templates, style guides, and page layouts -- that scale efficiently across the organization's full brand and location footprint
• Integrate and maintain product inventory data feeds within website frameworks -- ensuring vehicle listings are accurate, current, and properly surfaced across all sites
• Plan and execute website platform migrations, rebrands, and domain consolidations -- managing redirect mapping, DNS coordination, analytics setup, and pre- and post-launch QA to protect traffic and lead flow
• Design and optimize key customer journeys and conversion points -- search, product detail pages, lead forms, scheduling tools, and promotional landing pages
• Conduct UX research and testing -- user behavior analysis, heat mapping, usability reviews, and A/B testing -- and translate findings into prioritized design improvements
• Monitor site performance including traffic, engagement, page speed, mobile usability, and conversion -- establish KPIs and reporting to guide ongoing optimization
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, creative, and content teams to ensure site structure, page design, and technical implementation support search visibility and campaign performance
• Ensure content, pricing displays, disclosures, and data-collection features meet applicable advertising, privacy, and consent requirements
• Manage relationships with platform providers, design agencies, and third-party vendors -- including scope review, request prioritization, and accountability for deliverables
• Leverage AI tools to improve design output, accelerate development workflows, and increase overall production efficiency
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• A portfolio is required -- applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed
• 3+ years of web design and development experience required -- progressive experience in web design, UX/UI, or digital design with responsibility for live, customer-facing websites strongly preferred
• Solid front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript -- plus proficiency with relevant CMS, design, and prototyping tools
• Demonstrated experience planning and managing website launches, redesigns, platform migrations, or changeovers including coordination with external vendors
• Experience integrating inventory or product data feeds into live web environments -- required
• Experience managing design standards across a multi-site, multi-brand, or multi-location website portfolio
• Familiarity with multi-location retail website platforms and digital certification or compliance requirements
• Proficiency with AI tools applied to design and development work -- image generation, code assistance, copywriting, and workflow automation
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work efficiently and on deadline
WHAT WE OFFER
• $75,000 - $85,000/yr
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• A portfolio-building role with real scope -- 20+ brands, 40+ rooftops, and a full stack of design, UX, integration, and migration work across a growing multi-state organization
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
WHY SWICKARD AUTO GROUP -- SHARED SERVICES
• A website portfolio that spans 20+ brands and 40+ rooftops across six states gives a Web Designer & Developer more genuine variety -- design systems, platform migrations, inventory integrations, UX optimization -- than most single-brand digital roles ever offer
• Direct collaboration with marketing, analytics, and creative teams means your work connects to real performance data and real conversion outcomes, not just design deliverables that disappear into a pipeline
• Swickard's active acquisition pipeline means the portfolio grows -- each new store and brand adds design, integration, and launch work that expands the scope of what you own
• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry
• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- shape how we work internally just as much as how we serve our guests
If you're a web designer and developer who has owned a multi-site portfolio, built design systems that scale, integrated live inventory data feeds, and uses AI tools to work faster without cutting corners -- submit your portfolio and apply.
